I borrowed a bass guitar from a friend. Perfect, since I have been recording all the basslines with my Les Paul . Electric guitar sound pitched down to bass frequencies on Ableton sounds fine and perfectly twisted, but this brings the mix more boost. Sweet. Now I would have shown you a photo from the bass, but these bluetooth settings seem to be too hard for me to handle…

// A Break for the Weekend//

Today I haven’t been doing much work. I thought I needed some rest from the album, to gain more perspective in the mixing process. I have been listenning a lot Oh No Ono and Com Truise instead. Maybe it will have an effect on my work next week. They’re good stuff, top notch of the last years. We also had a great afterparty saturday morning at my place. Lots of guitar playing and loud singing with likes of Johannes from French Films, to whom I might be doing a remix for. Great stuff too!
